Elephant Pepper Camp

Elephant Pepper is a classic seasonal bush camp, situated well away from other camps and lodges, and shaded by natural woodland consisting of ebony and (of course) elephant pepper trees. Here you will encounter the perfect 'back to nature' experience, enjoying traffic-free game drives or guided bush walks, sitting out around the camp fire in the evenings and sleeping out under canvas to the sounds of the African bush.

Its special advantage is that, lying , as it does, in the Mara North Conservancy Area, there are none of the restrictions that beset the National Parks themselves, and hence walking safaris may readily be undertaken, together with night drives - a huge enhancement to the standard day-time game viewing experience. At the same time, the Mara is sufficiently small that any part can be reached from here during a game drive, as desired.

Each of the luxuriously-sized tents features an en-suite bathroom with eco-friendly flush toilets and traditional (hot) safari showers. The communal dining area is totally informal, with its own help-yoursef bar. Elephant Pepper is equally welcoming to families, honeymooners, safari first-timers and 'Old Africa Hands'.
